There’s something to be said about a good neutral, light colored plate or bowl for your food. I think that neutral colored plates really allows the emphasis to be on your colorful food, as opposed to taking away from your food like colored plates tend to do. Also, I’m loving this rustic pottery look right now and I love that so many retailers are embracing it as well. I’ve rounded up some fun pieces that I’ve come across, and included some that I have in our home.
Our collection includes a bunch of latte bowls from Anthropologie (1) and they have held up so well through the years. We also plates from the Heart and Hearth collection from Target (3) and plates and bowls from the open table collection from William Sonoma (10) and (12). Note that the open table plates and bowls from William Sonoma do tend to leave behind minor scratches from knives and forks, but they aren’t noticeable enough to bug me. I love the size and matte colors of them enough to over look this minor imperfection.
