I used a 24″ x 36″ canvas, but really, any size would work and just used a normal paint brush. You could use a skinnier or fatter brush to achieve different looks too! Have fun with it.
First, I used white acrylic paint cover the entire canvas as a base coat. Once that dried I went to town on the script, with black acrylic paint. I didn’t worry about completely filling in the letters with paint the first time around. I went back over the letters a second time, not being extremely careful about getting inside the lines because I wanted more of a messy – brush stroke look.
Definitely an easier project that makes a huge impact on an otherwise blank wall!
